LAMONT'S BIO
Raised in Richmond, Virginia, Lamont Fleming began his journey to music prominence at the age of 10. Fueled by the passion of his father Walter Fleming, Lamont joined a group named LaMaRe. With music in his DNA and inspired by singers such as; Marvin Gaye, Bobby Womack and David Ruffin, Lamont quickly began penning songs for the group.
Developing a deep rooted appreciation for good music, along with long time friend and mentor Clarence Jenkins and legendary bass player Timmy Allen, Lamont formed a production company in the early 2000's as a creative outlet to explore his talents. The trio went to work on the development of a young Chris Brown and is credited for co-writing and producing the 15 song demo that launched Brown's career.
Producer, Song writer, and arranger Lamont Fleming has been afforded the opportunity to work with such acts as Destiny's Child, Tyreese, Kenny Lattimore and Jamie Foxx even landing a publishing deal with the latter's Foxx King Publishing.
Shortly after he penned the theme song for his national broadcast show "G's to Gents".
In 2014 Lamont landed a deal with Mi5/Universal records that allows the singer songwriter to develop and release other acts under his own imprint. Focusing on his own career first Lamont is set to release a collection of singles as he prepare to release his debut self-entitled album fall of 2015.
